Your job.

The International Strategy and Operations team is a division of the Finance department devoted to leading projects that drive Indeed's global expansion. Our team works closely with multiple departments within the organization, and collaboration is essential to our ability to make an impact. We strive to excel on our strong analytical competencies, our detailed knowledge of the product, and our ability to build and maintain strong business relationships to help us achieve our goals.

Indeed is looking for an experienced Manager to join our growing International Strategy and Operations team with responsibility for:

  • Strategic Planning - Coordinating planning processes that help shape our International Strategy - this includes organizing our annual, bi-annual and monthly business performance reviews which span multiple markets and timezones. You will also be continuously improving these planning processes to keep Indeed’s decision-making timely and nimble.

  • Reporting & Analytics -  Preparing and scoping out analysis that help us execute our International Strategy

  • People development - Provide day-to-day support and guidance for the Associates and Senior Associates who perform data analysis and develop recommendations that guide strategic decisions on market development. Champion their career growth at Indeed and carve out stretch opportunities to help them grow.

This role will require some domestic and international travel.


About you.

Responsibilities:

  • Map out all planning cycles at Indeed and determine level of input required from INTL teams - then ensure that the appropriate input is provided

  • Own review and reporting forums run by the INTL Strat Ops team (monthly, 6-monthly and annual business reviews) This includes;

    • Leading your team on improving the UX, data quality, alignment and, automation of our reporting platforms.

    • Ensuring meetings are continuously effective to shape the strategic direction of each market

  • Identify strategic growth opportunities and develop specific project plans to affect change and execute quickly on these opportunities

  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate such growth opportunities

  • Develop strong business relationships within Finance leadership and outside of our department to ensure global analytical and data consistency

  • Mobilize and influence cross-functional teams to drive projects

  • Drive and assist your team with quarterly goal reviews, ongoing feedback  and creation of roadmaps

  • Manage ad hoc operational queries that arise in our international business


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of strategy, finance, or consulting work experience ideally in a similar tech environment

  • Previous people management experience

  • Project management skills; project management qualifications preferred

  • Tableau and SQL experience are a plus
