The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentives, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

New York City Metro Area Base Salary Range: 104,000 - 146,000 USD per year

Your job.

As part of the Product organization, develop new product strategies, partnerships, go to market approaches and highlight features to decrease customer effort and increase revenue capture opportunities. Proactively identifies and resolves Sales, CS and commercialization issues, including those impacting other business functions, before they arise. Lead competitive analysis that results in developing product offerings and feature recommendations we can take to market and drive recommendations to conclusion. Creates systems and processes to collect the needed data / insights to resolve challenges that arise. Become the go-to thought partner for the broader team (sales, CS, finance, etc.) to develop new systems and processes that interact with the product. In doing so, identifies and prioritizes unmet customer or internal needs, and develops solutions to meet these - whether within existing products or through new offerings and identifies opportunities to develop cross-product efficiencies. Apply prior experience to develop a deep understanding of industry dynamics, competitors, customer & user segments, with knowledge of the needs (met or unmet) and incentive structures affecting each group.

Partner closely with Indeed’s Revenue Systems & Platforms organization to support their mission of making it easy for Employers & Job Seekers to do business with Indeed. Collaborate across Indeed’s product portfolio to support commercialization needs related to Revenue Systems. Size impact of proposed initiatives and influence prioritization across projects. Examples of initiatives include: product monetization for new product launch/expansion, improvements to billing and payments experience, or creation/updates to tools that serve clients, sales, and client success.

To accomplish this, analyze data with spreadsheet software (i.e. vlookups and pivot tables) and database query experience (e.g. SQL); including Python where appropriate. Demonstrate facility in using all available resources to drive complex insights and become a recognized thought partner for determining how best to support decision-making with imperfect data. As part of recommendation building, proactively solicits appropriate leadership input on important issues; understands when, and to whom, communications are required; able to succinctly and convincingly articulate own point of view. Success in this role requires the ability to independently prioritize and influence broader organization to make progress on important product commercialization issues. This includes recognizing opportunities and takes action to improve overall (cross-product) go-to-market strategy and efficacy. 

As a senior individual contributor in the broader team, become a trusted advisor to peers and colleagues who helps more junior colleagues achieve their professional aspirations. Demonstrates the ability to scale knowledge throughout the organization by generation and maintenance of comprehensive and effective tools and channels. Practices clear, succinct top-down communication that provides leadership clear direction on decisions required and frames issues with appropriate context to speak to the audience’s point of view. Speaks articulately, reflecting the audience and the forum for verbal communications.

About you.


  • Minimum 4-year Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Economics, Information Technology, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Marketing, Operations, Product, Strategy, Consulting or other related function

  • 3+ years of experience partnering with a Sales or Customer Success team in a professional environment OR

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strongly desired:

  • Graduate degree preferred - MBA, JD or post graduate, etc.

  • 3+ years of experience working in the Tech Industry - AdTech, Digital Media and/or Recruiting / Staffing industry preferred

  • 2+ years of experience using Python or SQL

  • 2+ years of experience using either Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel or Tableau

  • Bonus: Experience with sales-force driven business models
  • Bonus: Experience with scaling international products
