As a Product Manager, you will be given access to unparalleled resources within Indeed to grow and develop both personally and professionally, managing one of our core products used by millions of people every month. 

You will not only drive product direction by working closely with your team of developers and QA, but you will also help build the foundation of the Indeed Singapore development center.

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

Singapore Base Salary Range: 115,000 - 149,000 SGD per year

Your job.

Indeed’s products work in over 40 country-language pairs, in a dozen scripts. The localization team is a new engineering team, whose mission is to improve and build the infrastructure that Indeed uses to make our products and content understandable, native-feeling, and relevant across all languages. You’ll work with product delivery engineering teams to improve the tools that engineers across the entire company use to translate, test, and deploy across the world, as quickly as possible.  You’ll also work with the localization operations team to improve automation and smart software integration for the processes to localize marketing and sales collateral, as well as internal communications. The team works with both on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure, and we utilize a combination of industry standard and custom built infrastructure solutions. 

As Technical Product Manager at Indeed, you will define the future of your product and what the team should work on. You will be empowered to set ambitious goals for your product and team. Your goals will not be easy to achieve; they should inspire and motivate the team to think big. 

You will sit with the localization engineering team and work closely with them on a daily basis, as well as working with localization project managers who are in Tokyo, Dublin, Seattle and Austin. You will define requirements, measure KPIs, track experiments and frequently ship releases. You will do data analysis, whether it’s running queries in MySQL, searching through logs, or using the plethora of in-house tools specially built for the colossal amount of data Indeed gathers (see: [1]

You’ve got a technical background, and are comfortable slinging some code to solve a problem. You understand how software development teams work, and how engineers think. Most of all, you love solving hard technical challenges to make a difference in the lives of other people, whether they be job seekers, employers or your fellow Indeedians. 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of product management or project management experience

  • 7+ years experience with development infrastructure in a product or engineering role

  • Deep familiarity with software engineering development, testing and deployment processes in large distributed companies

  • Prior ownership or development contribution of distributed data systems in an engineering capacity.

  • Ability to drive, contribute to, and communicate solutions to technical product challenges.

  • Ability to roll-up your sleeves and work in process or resource gaps and fill it in yourself.

  • Outstanding data analysis and data-driven decision making skills.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
