How a Tradeshow/ Sponsorship Manager works.


Indeed is looking for an events professional to manage and execute our WW Sponsored Events program in EMEA, by coordinating the build-out of scaled-exhibits, sponsorships and related activations to build client relationships and drive revenue for the company.


The Tradeshow/Sponsorship Manager, reporting to the Senior Event Manager of Sponsored Events, will work closely with internal client-facing sales teams and various marketing teams to create a unique experience for attendees and capture valuable leads.


This person must be a self-starter, highly dependable, innovative, confident and committed to Indeed’s success. We are seeking a high energy, detailed-oriented team member who is a big thinker and is comfortable balancing many moving pieces at once.

Your job.

Responsibilities


  • Manage and execute global tradeshows and sponsorships including, but not limited to:

    • Working with a General Service Contractor to coordinate the build-out of Indeed’s scaled and branded exhibit booths

    • Identifying and implementing valuable sponsorships and other activations to drive traffic to the booth

    • Create experiences aimed to increase engagement with clients and prospects before, during and after the conference and ultimately capture ‘sales engagement ready leads’ (SERL).

    • Developing and implementing project plans and timelines, budgeting, monthly reporting, speaker coordination, running pre-show and onsite meetings

  • Develop effective event marketing elements that deliver transformational experiences for attendees

  • Researching new event industry best practices and analyzing target audiences to choose appropriate marketing mediums to impact outreach, acquisition, engagement, and understanding among event attendees

  • Manage relationships with internal and external partners

About you.

Required Skills

This role is designed for an event planner with global tradeshow experience.  Must be able to build upon established programs and strategies and create first-class, seamless innovative experiences around the world.

  • Bachelor’s Degree; CTSM, CMP, CSEP, CMM certification(s) a plus

  • 6-8 years experience in a global tradeshow management role at a large company, non-profit, association or related agency experience

  • History of developing strategies that break new ground with events and deliver transformational experiences that impress internal partners and turn members/clients into brand evangelists/enthusiasts

  • Experience coordinating work of meeting planners, content developers, designers, creative services, writers, and vendors

  • Experience establishing and developing reporting metrics, dashboards and tracking leads

  • Practice accurate time estimating, identifying dependencies and resources/cost estimates, strong analytical capacity

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget

  • Global cultural orientation and working experience

  • Fluent in Google Applications, Apple Applications, Marketo, CRMs and Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software as needed

  • Fluent in a foreign language - French, German - a plus
