Your job.

Indeed is seeking a Training & Development Specialist that will work hand-in-hand with C.A. colleagues to develop, plan, and execute all touch-points of training & development programmed (e.g. on-boarding, workshops, webinars, speaker events, roundtable discussions, ongoing career development training, and coaching). By doing so they will apply experiential and accelerated learning principles to deliver transformative ILT experiences where regional teams will learn through experience, discovery, reflection, and discussion.  


The Training & Development Specialist will report to the INTL Training & Development Manager and must be able to partner well with additional internal and external teams. The successful candidate will have excellent communication & presentation skills, the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and work effectively in a dynamic global matrixed environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with C.A. T&D team and functional leadership to identify training needs, informing the training roadmap

  • Help facilitate courses within on-boarding training curriculum

  • Facilitate trainings within continued education curriculum

  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for teams as necessary internally and externally

  • Support the development, regionalization, and updating of training materials for your regional teams

  • Track and report on all training, surveys, attendance, participation etc. both in and out of the LMS

  • Create and update testing and evaluation tools including attendance-tracking and surveys

  • Document new processes and update existing training materials on Indeed’s company Intranet

  • Coordinate scheduling, communication and execution of special projects as needed, such as the organization of region-wide training events

  • Organize vendor management programs and make recommendations for additional outside resources

  • Grow and maintain your knowledge of Indeed’s products and become well versed in all roles in Content Operations and Acquisitions

  • Establish relationships with cross-functional partners, collaborating on shared initiatives for enterprise focus

  • Assist with execution of special projects as needed, such as the organisation of department-wide trainings/events


About you.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, Education, or related field

  • 1-3 years professional experience in training and development

  • 2+ years experience leading group training classes and/or public speaking (workshops, webinars, peer-to-peer, speaker events)

  • Demonstrated experience in applying the principles of instructional design and learning & development methodologies

  • Patient attitude with a strong desire to develop people

  • A creative, open-minded point of view towards learning, training, development, and processes

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing products, deadlines, and requirements

  • Strong experience in project planning, execution, and coordination

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective collaborator and communicator

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and/or Google Docs, Camtasia, Articulate, or similar development tools

  • Experience coordinating within an LMS


Preferred:

  • Preferred master’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, or  Education

  • 2-5 years professional experience in training and development

  • 4+ years experience leading group training classes and/or public speaking (workshops, webinars, peer-to-peer, speaker events)



Travel requirements: 20-30% of travel time is expected
