Our designers work in Seattle, San Francisco, Austin, Tokyo and Hyderabad, collaborating with Product Managers and Engineering to deliver simple solutions to the real-world problems that job seekers and employers face hiring and getting hired. The Employer Experience Studio is an interdisciplinary team of interaction, visual, and brand designers, writers, researchers, and design technologists. Working with Product Management & Engineering, we’re defining the future of the Indeed product experience. We’re big-picture thinkers who know how to work in the trenches and ship. This is the most exciting time to be a part of design at Indeed.


The Opportunity.

As a UX Designer on the Employer Experience Platform team, you will collaborate with Senior UX Designers and cross-functional team members to craft experiences that make finding the right talent more human, empathetic, hopeful and trusted. You will design for small, medium and enterprise employers, creating solutions to help them connect effortlessly with candidates.


Your strategic impact within your first year.

Help design the next generation of employer experience products

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to design integrations with key partners that provide seamless solutions for connecting job seekers with employers.

  • Build relationships with those partners to hone in on requirements and devise mutually beneficial approaches.

  • Work with user research to make decisions guided by the needs and expectation of users.

  • Use quantitative studies to understand business impact and measure progress.


Develop and define employer experience standards

  • Develop a playbook that articulates standards for seamless partner integrations that support efficiently creating an optimal user experience.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Content to shape and deliver effective messaging for employers for all partner integrations.

  • Use quantitative and qualitative methods to uncover user patterns, behaviors and intent; translate these findings into design patterns for personalizing the employer experience.

  • Participate in design sprints, design jams, hackathons, or workshops.

About you.

About you:

  • 2+ years of product design experience with an accompanying portfolio.

  • Relentless attention to detail.

  • Natural entrepreneur.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Product, Engineering, Marketing).

  • Experience supporting UX research.

  • Bachelor Degree Required, a degree in design, psychology, business, human-computer interaction (HCI), related field or equivalent experience.
