The team.We are a rapidly-growing, fast-moving, highly-capable UX team building the most popular job site on the planet. Our designers work in Seattle, San Francisco, Austin, Tokyo and Hyderabad, collaborating with Product Managers and Engineering to deliver simple solutions to the real-world problems that job seekers and employers face hiring and getting hired. Most importantly, our team is expected to deliver results, and be able to demonstrate the impact our changes have on our business.

With so many options, job seekers need help finding the best opportunities for them using their resume. We’re looking for a designer to join us in our journey in creating a experiences that help job seekers evaluate, purchase, and receive feedback and improve their resumes and interviewing abilities, in order to see success in their job search.
As a UX Designer with the Resume Review Team, you’ll be part of a brand new and fast-growing team in Indeed that is learning and testing how to best provide direct help to job seekers with their application artifacts. This is the first time Indeed has engaged in developing and selling products to job seekers - we have a lot to learn and are moving quickly, but it’s fun to start from scratch.
You'll create high-fidelity designs that define the user experience and user interface for new and existing features across Indeed’s resume review experience. You'll quickly and thoughtfully incorporate team feedback into designs. You’ll also validate your designs through qualitative user research and A/B testing (working with a product manager). You’ll understand how to apply our existing design language, but also proactively seek opportunities to extend and improve our system to elevate the design of our product.
3+ years professional experience working in product user experience.
A portfolio that demonstrates strength in visual design and experience designing modern, usable interactions and UIs, highlighting your process and design solutions.
Experience with mobile-first experiences and design systems, with a demonstrated ability to think through end-to-end solutions with a strong user-centered approach.
Systems thinker who can develop scalable solutions and experiences that can be configurable across markets.
Experience and interest in localizing products for multiple international markets. Experience living in different countries or having learned different languages is a plus.
Skilled in interaction and visual design with the ability to continually improve quality across our products and user experiences.
Knowledgeable and experienced in both generative and evaluative UX research.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with relentless attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively with partner disciplines (Research, Product, Engineering, Customer Support).
Ability to work independently and autonomously while delivering impactful outcomes and results.
Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Information Design, Graphic Design, or a related design or behavioral science discipline.
