The team.We are a rapidly-growing, fast-moving, highly-capable UX team building the most popular job site on the planet. Our designers work in Seattle, San Francisco, Austin, Tokyo and Hyderabad, collaborating with Product Managers and Engineering to deliver simple solutions to the real-world problems that job seekers and employers face hiring and getting hired. Most importantly, our team is expected to deliver results, and be able to demonstrate the impact our changes have on our business.
We are looking for a research and event coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with UX research and design as well as Product Management and other internal stakeholders to develop a program to identify and build relationships with employers who use online hiring tools and plan and coordinate events with those employers.
Some of the ways you may support the team
Coordinate details and logistics for carrying out events with employers who use online hiring tools, which may include invitations and scheduling, catering, venue preparation and equipment setup, and developing marketing and promotional strategies
Assist with creation of campaigns to promote events as well as pre- and post-event collateral and giveaways
Assist with developing a program for participant recruiting and event data collection, CRM tracking and reporting, and post event debriefs
Help create processes, checklists and best practices for the program as a whole
Develop a network of vendors that make recruiting end users and planning research and events a simple process
Experience coordinating and managing projects with cross-functional stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone
Highly organized, with excellent multi-tasking skills to manage multiple projects independently and consistently in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to innovation; eagerness to share ideas on how to improve services provided and event quality
Portfolio of previously managed events such as product launches, board meetings, conferences, parties, or corporate events is a plus
Photography and video skills are a plus
Established relationships with trusted vendors and venues is a plus
