Our designers work in Seattle, San Francisco, Austin, Tokyo and Hyderabad, collaborating with Product Managers and Engineering to deliver simple solutions to the real-world problems that job seekers and employers face hiring and getting hired. Most importantly, our team is expected to deliver results, and be able to demonstrate the impact our changes have on our business.

Your job.

We are looking for a UX Research Operations Manager who will collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, researchers, and product managers to find appropriate participants for in-person and remote UX research.  If you are an impeccable organizer and have a knack for building relationships, then this is a role for you.  You will build and maintain a program for recruiting and scheduling UX research sessions with employers and jobseekers, and you’ll play a key role in defining our research systems and processes.  


Some of the ways you will support the team 

  • Grow a team of research recruiters who will support UX research globally
  • Build and maintain a database or panel of research participants to expedite recruiting process
  • Coordinate ad strategy (Facebook/Google/Craigslist) targeting new research participants 
  • Manage recruiting for multiple concurrent research projects
  • Collaborate with researchers and designers to identify the right types of participants needed for UX research projects
  • Screen participants to ensure that they’re a good fit for our research activities
  • Schedule sessions and manage research calendar(s)
  • Collect and file forms such as nondisclosure agreements
  • Track study participation and deliver incentives
  • Provide day-of support for on-site research
  • Collaborate with the team to develop processes and practices to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

About you.


  • 5+ years as a UX or Marketing Research Recruiter or Coordinator
  • 2+ years of experience with hiring and training research recruiters 
  • Experience building and maintaining a research participant database
  • Experience with overseeing the financial operation of research projects, including planning, budgeting, managing costs
  • Experience managing research lab facilities
  • Experience coordinating international/multilingual research studies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in person and by phone
  • Highly organized, with excellent multi-tasking skills to manage multiple projects independently and consistently in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to prioritize when faced with multiple projects 
  • Experienced with calendar management
  • Bachelors Degree Required, a degree in design, psychology, business, human-computer interaction (HCI), related field or equivalent experience.
