Our mission.

As the world’s number 1 job site, our mission is to help people get jobs. We need talented, passionate people working together to make this happen. We are looking to grow our teams with people who share our energy and enthusiasm for creating the best experience for job seekers.

Every day throughout the world someone is looking for an opportunity. Searching for what’s next for your work life can be a tough, emotional process. Indeed is a purpose-driven company dedicated to doing what’s best for job seekers.

The tools we build serve both job seekers and employers, but we always start with the needs of the person looking for work; when design decisions force us to prioritize, we address the needs of job seekers first. The result is an experience that’s better for everyone. This guiding principle has served us well for over a decade and helped make us the #1 job site in the world.

The team.

The International Team works to make all of Indeed’s products effective at getting people hired, in every market and language. This involves understanding the needs of specific markets through research and experimentation, and finding design patterns that let us scale those variations worldwide. We consider both sides of the experience, meaning that we design and build employer-facing products (such as posting jobs and managing candidates) and jobseeker-facing products (such as mobile job search, updating profiles, and messaging-app based experiences). Most importantly, the team is expected to deliver results, and be able to demonstrate the impact our changes have on our business.

As a UX leader at Indeed, you will join an interdisciplinary community of interaction, visual and brand designers, writers, researchers, and design technologists who are based in Seattle, San Francisco, Austin, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hyderabad. We collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering to deliver simple solutions to the real-world problems that job seekers and employers face when hiring and getting hired. We’re big-picture thinkers who know how to work in the trenches and ship. This is the most exciting time to be a part of UX at Indeed.
